Piano and singing lessons from a professional opera singer

Paul Napier-Burrows I teach singing and piano to people of all ages and levels from Cheam in Surrey - and have been a singing and piano teacher for over 20 years.

None of my pupils have failed an exam in the last 10 years. That’s largely due to the amount of work my pupils put in but I also work hard to keep them motivated and to make learning music an enjoyable experience.

I teach up to Grade 6 piano and Grade 8 singing – for both the Associated Board and Trinity exams. I also teach singing to Diploma level for Advanced Students.

I teach because I really enjoy it. However, because I work full time as a singer, I only have about 14 half-hour sessions available each week. I normally teach on Saturdays as well as some weekday early evenings.

Importance of learning performance skills

I have a large repertoire of sacred and choral music, including all the major oratorios, and I can be booked for performances. In addition, complete concert evenings can be arranged with my colleagues.
